Lynn grew up on First Street in Cramerton, NC. Her childhood was spent around her entire family but especially her doting Grandfather CB “Blue” Poindexter, who guided and taught Lynn how to shoot and inspired her competitive nature.
She attended Cramerton High School where she was a standout basketball player (#15) leading the Eagles in scoring and rebounding and two league championships. Additionally, she was a football cheerleader and participated in various high school clubs. After graduation, Lynn lived in Atlanta, GA for a short time. She returned to Cramerton and began working as a secretary at Catawba Mills in Belmont. Lynn transitioned to Life of Virginia Insurance where she worked until 1998.
On February 15th 1980, Lynn married Charles A. Bramwell Sr., instantly expanding her family for which Lynn always wanted. Through the years, Lynn was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring daughter. She enjoyed any type of card & board games and even electronic games. Lynn had a special talent for calligraphy, painting and ceramics, making many handwritten cards and signs through the years as gifts for family and friends.
After retiring, Lynn enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. Their adventures included cruises throughout the Caribbean, motorcycle rallies with the Blue Knights of Gastonia and travelling for weeks at a time all across the United States.
Preceding Lynn in death is her husband of 45 years, Charles A. Bramwell Sr., father Clyde Harris and mother Gerline Harris, father-in law Kermit Bramwell, mother-in law Bernice Bramwell, granddaughter Sarah Smith and best friend of many years Madeline Neal.
Lynn leaves behind four children, Melissa Nuttall of South Carolina, Charles Bramwell Jr. and fiancée Melinda Ladd of Bessemer City, Anita Bramwell of Dallas, and Chastity Bramwell of Gastonia.
