Harold Raymond Elsenheimer, age 82 of Gasport, entered into rest on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at his son’s home in South Carolina. Born November 14, 1936, in Freemont, NY, Harold is the son of the late: Jesse and Florence (Gellien) Elsenheimer.
Harold was co-owner operator of Elsenheimer & Kill Building Corporation in Gasport. Harold was a member of the Covenant United Church of Christ in Gasport and the Masonic Lodge #787 of Gasport being a member for 55 years and Eastern Star Chapter 153 for over 50 years. Harold as honored with a 25 year service award for the Anjo and Little League baseball teams in Gasport. He enjoyed traveling, avid reader, spending time with family and friends. Dad was a very loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Surviving Harold is his wife: Joyce (Kill) Elsenheimer and children: Desiree (Jan) Flora, Jeffrey (Victoria) Elsenheimer, Gregory (Donna) Elsenheimer, Thomas (Brigitte) Elsenheimer, Diana (Fritz) Quackenbush, Patrick (Bonnie) Elsenheimer and Amy (Jeffrey) Wolter. Brother of: Edward (Evelyn) Elsenheimer, Jesse Elsenheimer, Donald “Joe” (Eleanor) Elsenheimer, and the late: Robert Elsenheimer, Dorothy Mehlenbacher and Bonita Nelson. Loving Poppy of 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 11 am from the Covenant United Church of Christ, 4449 Main Street, Gasport NY with the Reverend John Tipton and Reverend Theodore Elsenheimer co-officiating.
Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
