Gary Lee Weir

Gary was a 1963 graduate of Newfane Central Schools. He was an exempt member of the Olcott Volunteer Fire Department where he served as Vice President from 1980 until 1981 and 3rd Assistant Chief from 1982 to 1983. He was also a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Gary was an avid bowler and baseball player. He married Rosemary (Brewer) May 10, 1985 at the Hartland Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and son. Gary had worked for 36 years at Buffalo Paper Board in Lockport

Surviving Gary is his loving wife: Rosemary and his son: Terry Bentley. Brother of the late: James Weir. He is also survived by dear friends: the Terwilliger’s and the Seib’s.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Monday, from 3-6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery, Lockport, NY.
