Thomas Euel Clevenger Jr.

Thomas was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. He was always happy and ready to share his love for the Lord with everyone. Tommy was a dedicated Christian, who loved the Lord more than life and attended the New Life Church. We always joked that the Lord was his first love and food was his second love. Tommy loved his family and spending time with each of them at family gatherings.

Tommy had a few hobbies, one was taking care of his chickens and the other was collecting truckloads of scrap metal and taking it to the salvage yard. If you ever saw Tommy in Gardendale you would be guaranteed his hand gesture of “I Love You”. He will be truly missed by everyone.

Thomas was preceded by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Bertha Ruth Clevenger, his sister Sandra Moran, his Brother In Law David Jesse Smith and nephews, Jimmy Beard and Zachary Smith. He is survived by his sisters Ricki (Raymond), Debbie (Phil), brother Greg (Colleen) and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Services for Thomas will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL, with a time of viitation to begin at 1:00 PM; funeral service at 2:00 PM, followed by his burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
