Sylvia Allen

Sylvia Morris Allen, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Saturday January 19, 2019. Mrs. Allen retired from Cook's Pest Control with 20 plus years of service and was also an accomplished seamstress. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Harry J. Allen , her parents William and Agnes Morris, her son-in-law Randy Scott and her sister-in-law Jeri Morris. Survivors include her sons William E. Allen (Malorie) and J. Eric Allen (Nancy), her daughter Debra A. Scott, brothers William "Bill" Morris, Glenn P. Morris (Kathleen) and Ken Morris (Harvey). Grandchildren include Elaine Bulloch (Curtis), Jennifer Davis (Daniel), Stacy Isbell (David), Michael Allen ( Lorena), Christopher Allen (Savannah), and Taylor Allen. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends,

A celebration of life visitation for Sylvia will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life service will occur Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, Alabama 35071.
