Susan Treadaway

Susan Bagby Treadaway, age 55 passed away on Nov 2, 2019 at home in Morris, Alabama surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Susan will be remembered by so many for her zest for life and passion for helping others. In addition to raising five children and serving as a court reporter, Susan was an active member of her community and a role model to so many.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Bagby and daughter, Kelsey Treadaway. She is survived by her husband, Allen Treadaway; children, Erin (Chase) Mullinax, Tyler (Jessie) Treadaway, Ally Treadaway, Cody Treadaway; grandchildren, Jolie and Sadie Mullinax, Charlie and Jaxon Treadaway; father, Jack Bagby; siblings, Jackie (Karen) Bagby, Debbie (Mitchell) Sellers, Emmitt (Shelley) Bagby, Kerry (Sherry) Bagby; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday, Nov 5, 2019 at 1:00 at Gardendale's First Baptist Church North Campus with visitation at the church from 10:00 until 1:00. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Mark Harrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Kelsey Treadaway Memorial Foundation be made at ktread.org.
