Susan Nichols

Susan "Susie" Nichols, age 72, of KIMBERLY, Alabama passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019. Susan was born November 22, 1946. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Blackwell Atkinson and William Harold Atkinson, and her son, David Lee Nichols.

The surviving family members are her husband of 55 years, Ralph Edward Nichols, her daughters, Debra Nichols Love and Dianna Nichols Akers (Daryl), her two grandchildren, Anna Akers Brown (Chris) and Walker Damon Love and her two great-grandchildren, Cayden and Jackson Brown.

Susie was a devoted and selfless wife for 55 years, a loving mother, but being a grandmother was her greatest joy. Her laughter was infectious and sweet and it will live in the hearts of all that love her. She will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Susan will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.
