Robert "Eddie" Edgar Collins

Eddie attended Leeds High School where he played football and baseball. He worked in the Heating and Cooling Industry for over 25 years. Eddie loved the outdoors and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was a loving husband, father and Grandfather. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Eddie was preceded in death by; daughter Kim Huguley; father Charles Collins and mother Agnes Collins; brother-in-law Chuck Smith; granddaughter Kaitlyn Stanley.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Ann Collins; son Charles Collins (Tiffany); son Jimmy Collins (Amanda); son David Whitt (Nicole); son Johnny Whitt; and daughter Holly Whitt (Stephanie); brother Mike Collins (Diane) and sister Robbie Vickery (Brett).

A special Thank You to all the Nurses at Grandview Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion.

A celebration of life for Robert "Eddie" Collins will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Church Of The Living God, 3508 Hwy 269, Parrish, AL 35580. A cremation will occur.
