Paula Odom

Paula was born in Birmingham, Al. She was a natural mother. As a teenager, she would often be seen taking care of her little brother, Scott. Paula had three beautiful children of her own. She was always willing to step in and help family when needed and was a very strong woman. Like her mother, Paula found work at the Jefferson County DMV.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Douglas Riddlesperger, her mother, Donna Mitchell, her daughter, Brandi Nicole Odom, and her brother Doug Riddlesperger Jr. She is survived by her two sons, Calvin and RJ Odom, siblings Terry Riddlesperger (Cyndee), Pam Sanford (Eddie), Chris Finchum (Andrea), Scott Arnold (Emily), several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel. Her family will receive friends from 1 pm until service time. Burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
