Nancy, a resident of Fultondale went home to be with the Lord at the age of 77. Nancy grew up in Gardendale and graduated from Mortimer Jordan High School. Nancy worked for 35 years at Mill & Textile Supplies before retiring. After retiring, she lived an active life where she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening and traveling with her family. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Verlie Thompson.
She is survived by her daughters, Renee Bush (Lloyd) and Traci Doss; brother Ralph Thompson (Diane); sisters, Sherry Willingham (Jimmie), and Deborah Hays; grandchildren, Hunter Bush, Brandon Bush, MacKenzie Doss, and Tyler Doss.
Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardenale Chapel on Monday, February 29, 2016, with a visitation to begin at 12:30pm; funeral service at 2:00 pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardenale, AL.
