Mary Louis Adair Smith, age 97 of Fultondale, Al passed away on Wednesday. She was a longtime faithful member and Sunday school teacher at Gardendale’s Frist Baptist Church. Mary retired from Bruno’s grocery stores with over 20 years of service. She is survived by her grandson, Joseph “Joey” Oliver, Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Herbert Smith; daughter, Patricia Ann King; parents, Walter and Annie Adair; brothers, Leonard, Cecil, and Thomas Adair; and a sister, Mabel Adair Humphrey.
Services will be held Saturday, 3 PM, November 19th at 3 Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow Monday at 1 PM in Smyrna Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Goodwater, Al on County Road 83.
