Mary Frances Raney

Mary Frances was born in Birmingham, AL. After high school she was a cosmetologist for 7 years, she then moved to Texas with her husband, Terry, where she drove a School Bus for Special Ed students for 18 years for the Round Rock School District. Her and Terry returned to Alabama and opened a business in Morris, AL and worked together until retirement. Mary and Terry recently moved to Anniston, Al and she passed away at the age of 70.

Mary Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mandy Smith and two brothers, Jerry and Red Smith. She is survived by her loving husband Terry W. Raney; son, Terry W. Raney, Jr., daughter, Teresa M. Huggins; brothers, Wayne Smith (Pat) and Johnny R. Smith; sister, Judy Gilmer (Dennis); granddaughter, Taylor M. Huggins; grandsons, Trevor N. Huggins, Walker D. Raney and Travis Raney.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Sunday, April 26th from 6:00pm until 8:00pm; a funeral service on Monday, April 27th, at 2:00pm followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
