Meeks, Mary Ann Brewer, Age 69, of Graysville, Alabama, passed away January 30, 2014. Mary Ann was born on January 29, 1945 to the late Willard Leach and Mary Agnes (Gilley) Brewer. She graduated from Minor High School in 1963. In 1977 she met the love of her life, James Earl Meeks. They were married December 21, 1978. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother and father; sisters: Deweese Brewer Mewbourn, Kathryn Brewer Crocker, Dorothy Brewer Vance, and Mildred Brewer Saunders; and brother, Belton Brewer. She is survived by her husband, James Earl Meeks of Graysville; her daughter, Mary Susan Payne (Michael) of Gardendale; grandchildren: Gregory Malone Payne, Birmingham, and Marissa Kathryn Payne, Gardendale.
