I worked with Mark for 10 years before retirement in late 2019. He was always a pleasure to be with and was one of those guys I was fortunate to be able to call when IT problems arose.  The last two years at work we collaborated on a major conversion project and it’s easy to say that his assistance was vital to contributing to the success of the project. 

During the years we worked together we became friends and talked about responsibilities we had in taking care of our aging parents among many other topics. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to talk about his interests, his friends and his beloved family. He will truly be missed. 

This guy right here was a true friend I enjoyed all the years of wisdom and just overall friendship i received from Mark. From us sitting together at the football games after our boys graduated, shooting at the gun range to eating barbecue down at James house, I will miss it all! Mark was such a genuine person who at times made me feel like he loved my son just as much as he loved Connor. Mark was my son’s biggest fan and supporter I love you Mark and will miss you so much!!!! 

Mark was a great coworker but am even better man. He was always someone you could look up to and admire. He will be missed.

While at GHS, I remember hearing the news that we were getting this really good football player from Dora HS.  I walked the halls during class changes looking for this new guy.  After about 3 days, I completely give up.  That very afternoon, I was walking out to track practice and saw something I have never seen before.  I saw a football come up from out of Driver Stadium. Now realize, the concession obstructs the view of the field so this ball was boomed.  He had arrived !!!  I don't really remember having classes with Mark, but we somehow became friends.  Throughout the many, many years during and since GHS,  Mark would always greet me will a big smile and at least, 30-45 minutes of conversation. One of Heaven's newest angels was delivered with a big smile on his face.......and the other angels knew that he had arrived !!!

Mark Williams was a great friend that was there for me no matter the circumstances. He was always looking out for me and my family. I didn’t know a more godly man . He will be dearly missed and always remembered. 

Mark was a great coworker and even better friend, he will be missed.

Mark and I went to the same school. Decades after graduation, we not only find one another in the same company, but in the same department. Our philosophies might not have always aligned but I considered him a dear friend, who deserved all the good that came his way.
