Mack Danal Bailey

BAILEY, MACK DANAL Mack Danal Bailey, Age 85, Born Jan. 15th 1926. He went to be with the Lord July 12th 2011. Predeceased by parents, Gus Edward and Mima McDanal Bailey and 8 of 11 siblings. Survived by loving wife Kathleen; 4 adoring children, Carol, E. Mack, (Leigh), Michael, (Darlene) and Shae; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mr. Bailey is also survived by one brother, Jack; and 2 sisters, Jessie and Margaret; and many nieces and nephews. He was an electrician by trade, retired from Jim Walter Resources (U.S. Pipe) in 1991, a private pilot, and a many times decorated WWII veteran of the USMC. Mr. Bailey enjoyed the water and retired to Smith Lake. He was an exceptional man, generous and caring and admired by all who knew him. Visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 am, with interment at Mt. Hebron Cemetery. >
