Louise Dudley Butler of Pinson Alabama born December 23, 1923 went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday November 6, 2022 at the age of 98. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. A devout Christian and longtime member of McCombs Chapel. Louise not only told others about Jesus she lived by example.
Louise served as the secretary of McCombs Chapel for many years. She enjoyed working in her yard, preparing Sunday dinner for her family, sitting on the porch talking about “the good ole days” and singing from the red backed hymnal.
Louise was preceded in death by husbands, Hansel Dudley and Grady Butler; stepsons, Bobby and Raymond Butler; parents, Tip and Mamie Stallings; sister, Jewel Copeland; brothers, Verlin, Leon and Wayne Stallings.
Louise was survived by sons, Larry Dudley (Betty) and Steve Dudley (Kylie); daughter in law’s, Bernice Butler and Trudy Butler Wood grandchildren; Tracy Dudley, Craig Dudley (Nikki), Kristy Hayes (Roy), Amanda Warden (Shane), David Butler (Tracy), Paul Butler, Tim Butler (Lory Ann), Kim Butler Rager, Mark Butler (Renae), Sophia Gardner (Robert) and Kelsey Butler; great grandchildren, Meagan Dudley, Joshua Dudley (Abigail), Lindsey Dudley, Hannah Dudley, Lance Crawley (Caitlyn), Blaine Crawley, Brooks Hayes, Jase Gallagher, Kynlie Warden, Ashley Scott (Josh), Bradley Butler, Christa Butler, Allison Butler, Elizabeth Butler, Joshua Butler, Peyton Butler, Emily Miller, Brittany Brakeman (Matt) and Kayla Mendiola (Juan); great great grandchildren, Aspen, Brooklynn, Brody, Mason, Madisyn, Leigha, Caden, Kinley, Brogan, Allie, Jackson, Cohen, Kaydence, Jacob and Dawson.
Visitation for family and friends of Louise will be held Thursday November 10, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with funeral to follow at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, Alabama 35071. Louise will be laid to rest beside her husband Hansel James Dudley in Marvin’s Chapel Cemetery in Pinson, Alabama.
