Lou Ann Wilson

Lou Ann Wilson of Houston, Alabama, passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 83. She was a kind-hearted, loving mother, sister, and friend to many. Lou Ann enjoyed cooking meals to share with her family and growing beautiful flowers, herbs, and vegetables.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Taronda McSwain Adams; her father, Clydis Henry Moon; her mother, Hazel Anderson Moon; her brother, Bernard Moon; and her sister, Gay Ree Cruce.

Lou Ann is survived by her two sons, Shawn and Courtney Wilson, and Shane Wilson; her granddaughters, Katie Abbott and Camryn Murray; her great-granddaughters, Oaklee Handley and Robin Handley; her brother-in-law, Donald Cruce; her nephews and their families, Randy Moon and Robbie Moon; her niece and her family, Wendy Chappell; as well as many extended relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life Service officiated by Randy Moon. A Committal Service will immediately follow at Dorsey's Creek Cemetery in Bremen, Alabama.
