Butch was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to spend time sitting outside in the shade and enjoying the outdoors and he enjoyed fishing.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, Revis and Dorothy Melvin and a sister, Brenda Sullivan.
Butch is survived by his wife, Donna Wadsworth Melvin; children, Stacey Beasley and her husband Bobby Beasley and Patrick Casey Melvin; a sister, Patsy Doss and her husband Larry; grandchildren, Ryan Melvin, Zachary Wilkins, Caleb Melvin, Kaitlyn Melvin, Lacie Dowdy and her husband Austin, Caleigh Melvin, and Cameron Melvin; great grandchildren, Leo Melvin, Luna Claire Melvin, and Everleigh Dowdy, and friends.
Memorial Service for Butch will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at Grace Community Church, 599 Spunky Hollow Road, Remlap, AL.
