Kathy R. White

Kathy Raye Webb White, 57, of Gardendale was at rest surrounded by her family when she was called home Tuesday, September 2, 2014. She was born August 24, 1957 in Birmingham AL. She is survived by her Mother in Love Thelma White of Fultondale, AL. Husband Roger White of Gardendale, AL., daughters Binky Clark of Mobile , AL. and Darlene Spruill of Gardendale, AL. ; five grandchildren, Shay Clark, Gabby Spruill, Logan Clark, Lexi Spruill and Ali Spruill; a host of nieces, nephews, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM September 4th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. A Service of remembrance to follow at 2:00 PM. Those who wish to give special gifts in her memory may do so by giving to the UAB PCCU to help others receive care.

The family wishes to extend its most heartfelt thanks to all who have provided kindness and comfort in this difficult time. We believe as a family that when someone passes, their life does not cease but merely changes. We know Kathy has reached a place of everlasting peace alongside her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is with this comforting knowledge, we choose to gather to celebrate her life and only grieve for those that are left behind.
