Judy W. McCombs, age 69 of Gardendale passed away Monday, January 3, 2011. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Morris and was retired from the Birmingham Board of Education. Survivors include her husband, Wayne; sisters-in-law: Shirley Gillmore, Pat (Dennis) Love and Lynn McCombs; brothers-in-law: Preston McCombs and Gary (Julia) McCombs; best friend, James Little; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home Thursday.
