Johnny Dwight Miller

August 2, 1949 - January 22, 2016

Johnny a resident of Graysville, AL, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 66. Johnny was a long time member of the Brookside Church of Christ. He enjoyed the time that he spent at the Silver Oaks Adult Daycare Center with special friends. He loved to listen to gospel music, playing cards and Legos.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Gertrude Miller and a sister, Carla James. He is survived by his sister, Sylvia Sheelor; niece, Amy Edmond (Scott); great niece, Jalie and great nephew, Parker; nephew, Johnathan Sheelor (Stephanie); great nephews, Chase, Kolten and Jaxson; two daughters; four grandchildren, other family members and a host of friends.

Services will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation to begin at 1:30pm; funeral service at 2:30pm followed by his burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, Gardendale, AL.
