Jamie Dodson, age 37 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She had the greatest sense of humor, always laughing, and she never met a stranger. An avid Alabama football fan, she always pulled for her Crimson Tide. She was owner of Dodson Recovery and founder of Open Soul Paranormal. Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Hawkins. She is survived by her husband, Scott Dodson and a daughter, Bridgette Dodson; her father, Robert Hawkins; a sister, Ashley Flaccavento (Carlo); nephews, Cullen and Carlo Flaccavento; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday evening, October 1st at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 5 until 8 pm. Chapel funeral services will be held on Friday beginning at 2 PM and followed with interment in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
