James A. “Pete” Foster, age 69 of Pinson passed away Monday, March 5, 2012. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pinson and was retired from Kent Corporation. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Lois Foster; first wife, Barbara Foster; brother, William Foster. Survivors include his wife Ann Foster; sons: Russell (Rhonda) Foster, Scott (Deana) Foster and Michael (Sharon) Foster; grandchildren: Keith, Jessica, Tara, Kaitlin (Ben), Morgan, Evan, Tabitha and Jaida; great grandchild, Bryson; sister, Ann (F.D.) Harris; brothers: Ralph (Anita) Foster, Jerry (Sheila) Foster, Larry (Charlene) Foster and Eugene (Diane) Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with burial in Sunrise Memory Gardens.
