Gladys Christine "Chris" Snow

Chris was a longtime member of North Gardendale Church of Christ and she retired from Willis Corroon after 20 years of service. She was affectionately now as Granny by her family and others that she loved so dear.

Chris was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Dickey; her mother and step-father, Blanch and Lloyd Renaud; her loving husband, Dewey Lonzo Snow, Jr.; two sisters, Voncile Dennis and Nehi Sexton; and two brothers, Elmer Dickey and Elvis Dickey.

Chris is survived by her two daughters, Linda Snow Guthrie and her husband Danny and Dawn Snow Clemons and her husband John; five grandchildren, Lanny (Tonya), LaDana (Mike), Garrett, Justin, and Everett; seven great grandchildren, Abi (Tyler), Aidan, Cayson, Morgan, Mackenzie, Madison, and Audie; two great-great grandchildren, Dawson and Bryson and soon to be Annie-Blaire; and a host of family and friends.

Special appreciation to Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion through this journey. Especially Jan, Jarrod and Lashell.

Celebration of life services for Gladys will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Monday, May 10, 2021 with a time of visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and a funeral service at 2:00 PM. A private burial will occur at Forest Hills Cemetery, Birmingham, Alabama.
