Eugene Copeland

Eugene Copeland a resident of Birmingham, AL, was born in Banger, Alabama on January 21, 1932 and passed away peacefully on December 24, 2016 at the age of 84. Eugene was a member of the Cornerstone Church in Mount Olive.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Birdie Copeland and two brothers, J.B. Copeland and Verlin Copeland.

Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Edith Copeland; son, Romer Gene Copeland (Patricia); brothers, Jack Copeland (Jewel Dean) and Vernon Copeland; sister, Gertrude Pain (Robert); grandson, Jason Copeland; great grandson, Elijah Copeland; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral service, Tuesday, Dec 27, 2016 at 11:00am with a visitation to begin at 10:00am; his burial will follow in the Friendship Independence Methodist Church Cemetery, Vinemont, AL.
