Ethel Rita Naramore

Ethel Rita Naramore, age 87, of Gardendale, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Ethel was born in Akron, Ohio on August 24th, 1936 to the late Fred Carl and Louise Marie Feller. Rita had a passion for sewing which she blessed many individuals with her craft. Family meant the world to her and she spent her years as a homemaker, providing a wonderful life for her husband and three children who blessed her with many grandkids that she was able to love and create wonderful memories with.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Carl Feller and Louise Marie Collins Feller; her loving husband of 63 years, Troy Naramore; her daughter, Tina Hill; her son, Freddy Naramore; and her sisters, Dutch, Ginger, and Florence. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Debby and Jerry Sorensen; her grandchildren, Keith Sorensen, Karl and Tracie Sorensen, Kerry and Sarah Sorensen, Dustin Naramore (Hannah), Tyler Hill and, Robin Arrington; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Lex, Isabella, John, Josh, Jordan, Carter, Case, and Harley; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM with burial at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
