Elloise (Elly) Seale, aka Birmingham Betty, was born on September 5, 1935 and passed away at UAB Highlands on July 31, 2024 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by the family she loved so much as she joined her husband, Morris, into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved how people would mistake her for Betty White everywhere she went. She attended Columbiana and Childersburg high schools, and lived in Gardendale, Alabama. Her favorite color was pink, and Elly was as bright as the color itself.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Whitburn and Lyla Norris; her children, Debbie (Randy) McLeroy, Tony Seale; her grandchildren, Jessica (John) Baker, Gary ‘Red’ (Jackie) Alexander, Caitlin (John) Vaughn, Micah (Nicolette) Seale, Caleb (Carley) Seale; her great grandchildren, MacKenzie (Mason) James, Seth, Walker and Kyle Alexander, John David and Sydney Ellis Vaughn, Dawson Seale, Scarlett and Waylon Baker; her newest great grand is Colton Seale, and she loved snuggling with him. She is also survived by her cherished friends, Sharon Smith and Mary Owen, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 4, at 7 Mile Ministry in Gardendale at 5:00pm, then on Monday, August 5th, we will have a short visitation at 10:00am with service starting at 11:00am.
Special thanks to the staff at UAB Highlands. They treated her like royalty.
Life is short, and we urge everyone to Love like Elly! ❤️
