Dorthey Azerene Johnson

Dorthey B. Johnson, age 90 of Mt. Olive, AL went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Dorthey was a loving and caring mother, sister, and grandmother who made her family her life. She was very much loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Lee Johnson; parents, William and Lillie Langston; and a brother, Charles Robert “Bob” Brantley. She is survived by her loving family, two sons, Danny Lee Johnson and his wife Jan and David “Dabo” Johnson; her sister, Nell Kirby; Grandchildren, Angela Wood, Tim Johnson, Kim Henson, Leann Kaylor, and Kevin Dickie.; Great Grandchildren, Samantha Lea Wood, Christopher Wood, Caleb and Joshua Johnson, Cotie and Krista Henson, Brandon and Skyler Kaylor, and Cole Dickie; and two Great-Great Grandchildren.

A visitation is planned for Wednesday evening, August 6th, from 5 until 8 PM at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with chapel services on Thursday beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
