Donna Marie Burrow Tubbs, age 69, of Remlap, Alabama died September 14, 2012. She retired from the Jefferson County Housing Authority and spent the last years of her life enjoying her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Elizabeth Burrow; sister, Billie Holcomb; and grandson, Dylan Tubbs. She is survived by her husband, Charles Tubbs; sons: Ray Tubbs (Cecilia) and Braxton Tubbs (Katrina); daughter, Pam Tubbs (Junior McCay); grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Chase, Dalton, Gena Rae and Sarah Marie; siblings, Charles Burrow (Kay), Betty Nylen (Howard) and Mike Burrow (Vivian); and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with funeral services beginning after the visitation. Interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
