Donald Don Bryan Williams

February 18, 1929 – October 23, 2013

From Thorsby, AL passed away peacefully at his residence in Pelham, AL with his family by his side. Don worked as a Service Technician for the Chevrolet Motor Division his entire career. He was a member of the Church of the Highlands.

Don was preceded in death by his parents Rueben and Mertle (Barber) Williams; Brothers, Ethridge, Ray, JC and Richard Williams; Sisters, Pauline Hayes, Bernice and Jean Moore. Don is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Williams; Sisters Mae Stringer and Mable Redmill; Children Randy Williams (Monica), Pat Gober (Jim), Donnie Williams (Donna) and Scott Williams (Misty); Grandchildren, Monique Summers, Brandon Williams, Andi Lucia, Meaghan Williams, Jake Williams and Marlee Kate Williams; Great-grandchildren, Anna Katherine, Caroline, Shelby, Kynley, Brayden, Nikki, Sage, Evan and Silas.

A visitation will be held at the Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Friday, October 25, 2013, from 12 noon until 2:00pm with a funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
