Donald C. Phillips

He married Betty J. Hollis in 1959. Together they had four children; Harley, David, Becky, and Eric Phillips. Donald retired from U.S. Pipe after 35 years of service. He then became a taxidermist for 27 years by helping preserve memories for others.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Hollis Phillips; his children Harley Phillips, Becky Phillips Albright, and Eric Phillips, and his granddaughter Erica Phillips . Donald is survived by his son David Phillips, his granddaughter Carrila Phillips, his grandson Derrick Albright, his granddaughter Andrea Phillips, his grandson Josh Albright, his great grandchildren Axton Albright, Allen Albright, Malachi Phillips, Naomi Phillips, Alana Phillips, and Jade Phillips, and a host of extended relatives.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
