Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Sylvia Allen and her husband, Randolph “Randy“ Scott. They were married for 36 years. They leave behind three daughters, Elaine (Curtis) Bulloch, Jennifer (Daniel) Davis, & Stacy (David) Isbell. Debra devoted her hands and heart to the love and care of her husband and girls for many years as a homemaker. As the girls grew older, Debra began using her talent and love of sewing outside of the home. She took great pride in the sewing, alteration, and embroidery services she provided to the community for the past thirty years. Her career brought her not only a creative outlet and sense of accomplishment but provided many very special relationships that were deeply cherished.
She will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Cort, Briggs, Caroline, Trace, and Luke. They will especially miss their “Memaw’s” wonderful cooking. It would be negligent to list all of these people that played such a large part of Debra’s life without mentioning her two very fat, very spoiled fur babies, Sunny and Saban, that shared her home and brought her so much joy. She is also survived by two brothers, Eric (Nancy) Allen and William (Malorie) Allen, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Debra will be held Monday, August 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
