Danny was born on June 26, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Janis McNamara. He was one of nine children, a sibling to two sisters and six brothers.
Danny was predeceased in death by his parents and brother, Pat. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, as well as his son Conor (Sherylyn) granddaughter Blakely, daughter Shannon (Allen) Pope, daughter Colleen (Chris) Mays, and granddaughter Ryann. He is also survived by his sisters, Peg Anthony and Maura Clary, brothers Shawn, Tim, Ned, Jim, and Tom, plus a host of in-laws, nephews and nieces.
Danny’s early years were full of wonderful experiences surrounded by an abundance of family and friends. After high school and college, he entered the workforce with unparalleled enthusiasm. Danny’s larger than life personality, coupled with his compatibility with people, spring boarded a successful career in sales that covered several decades. Danny’s life experiences allowed him to live in several states, including Ohio, California, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and lastly Alabama. He was always moving forward, ready to take advantage of new career opportunities. At the end of his legacy sales career he was employed as manager of the Bedzzz Express Mattress firm, overseeing sales, inventory, staffing, and promotions.
Danny’s life was highlighted by his upbeat, positive attitude. He always had a joke to share and a story to tell. He will be missed by all that were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to know him.
Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10:30am.
