Clarence was a resident of the Village at Cook Springs in Pell City and passed away Saturday at the age of 94. He served our country in the Army Air Corp in WWII, He was a contractor and worked in construction for many years and he was a long time member of the Shades Crest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Pervy and Della Blackston Aycock; his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce Aycock; brother, Dutch Aycock; sister, Lucille Turner. Clarence is survived by his sons, Terry Aycock and Tom Aycock (Pam); daughter, Sue Finn (James); identical twin brother, Clyde Aycock; sister, Tressie Aycock Doss; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec 28, at 11:00am at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel with a visitation to begin 1 hour prior at 10:00am. Interment will follow in the Bivens Chapel Cemetery, Brookside, AL.
