Christopher Michael Comfort

Chris Michael Comfort, age 49 of Vestavia Hills ended his battle with cancer and went to be with our savior Jesus on March 21, 2022. Chris is survived by his loving wife, Lisa; daughters Leia and Ivy; parents, Gene and Darrell Comfort; mother-in-law, Sheila Dobbs; sister, Kelly Comfort (Diego); and sister-in-law, Stacy Rhoads (Mark). He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, playing games, pranking friends for a good laugh, and great food. He worked for Southern Nuclear Company for 24 years, where he ended his career as the Engineering, Innovation and Technology Senior Manager. He shared his passion for technology as he was our family and friend tech expert. He loved his girls well, left us too soon and will be sorely missed! A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25th at 3 pm at Shades Mountain Baptist Church Conference Center followed by visitation until 5 pm.
