Catherine D. Bandy, age 70, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, of Pinson, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 21, 2023 at St. Vincent’s East Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie B. Allison (Scott), Stacy L. Bandy, her three grandchildren, Garrett Allison (Madison), Taylor Allison, and Lydia Allison. Her three siblings, David Perkins (Patty), Judy Coker (Raymond), and Gloria Wolfe, and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Bandy, her father, Mercer O. Perkins, her mother, Louise Perkins, her sisters, Patsy Morgan and Shirley Glass, and brother, Cary “Butch” Perkins.
A celebration of life graveside service for Catherine will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Moncrief Cemetery, 2055 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071.
