Carol Sue Browning, age 73 of Gardendale, Al passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Lance Browning; her parents, William and Ruby Basinger; brothers, William L. Basinger and Larry Basinger; sisters, Catherine Evans, Dorothy “Dot” Ferguson, Marilyn Milligan, and Joyce Naymon. Mrs. Browning is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Lynette Brock (Billy); a brother, Jerry Basinger (Rhonda); and sisters, Becky Higgins and Darlene McFann (Mac).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 6 to 8 PM with chapel services on Wednesday beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
