Benny is preceded in death by his wife, Marie Garren Cheek who passed in 1994 and his second wife Linda Gooch Cheek whom passed five years ago.
Benny is survived by two sons, Larry Cheek and Phillip Cheek (Tammy); one daughter, Malinda Conwell (John); one sister, Carol Sue Tidwell (Paul); six grandchildren, Christopher Cheek (Jessica), Heather Cheek, Magen Leadbetter (Kyle), Braden Cheek (Erika), Edward Conwell (Brittany), and Scott Conwell; Brooklyn Cheek, Aubree Cheek, Colton Cheek, and Luke Leadbetter; several other family members and a host of friends.
A graveside service for Calvin will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071. A burial will occur at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
