Bobbie J. Williams

January 22, 1935 - August 15, 2015

Bobbie Williams of Smoke Rise, AL went home to be with the Lord at the age of 80. She was a member of the Mountain Brook Baptist Church in Blount County where she faithfully taught Sunday School for many years and she was a member of the Eastern Star.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Nig and Naomi Brady; brother, Albert Coit Brady, Sr. and a sister, Betty Sue Foster.

Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jessie L. Williams; children, Jessie Leo Williams, Jr. (Betty), Betty Suzette Elmore (Jonathan) and Angela Dale Williams; brother, Ricky Brady; sister, Priscilla Ridgeway; grandchildren; Traci Barnett, Kimberly Pugh, Bobby Sylvester, Jonathan Sylvester, and Marcus Sylvester; great grandchildren, Shelby Barnett, Brady Barnett, Canaan Sylvester, William Pugh, Noah Sylvester, Benjamin Pugh, Maylah Sylvester, Alysia Sylvester, and Caleb Sylvester.

Services will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with a visitation on Tuesday, August 18th from 6pm until 8pm; a funeral service on Wednesday, August 19th, followed by her burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
