Bobbie Jean Roper

Bobbie Jean Roper, 80, passed away on December 15, 2020. She was a member of Green Station Baptist Church in Pinson, Alabama. She served as a member of the Military Order of the Purple Hearts Women’s Auxiliary, Birmingham, Alabama for many years. Preceding her in death were her husband Edwin Roper; parents William and Mary Robbins, son Terry Madaris. She leaves behind her granddaughter Trisha Kay Madaris Hendrix (Brett) great grandchildren Zach Busenlehner and Blaklee Hendrix. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Ridout’s Gardendale Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Ridout’s Gardendale Funeral Home on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Brian Burdette Pastor of Central Baptist Church, Mt. Olive, AL will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Asked to serve as pallbearers will be Zach Busenlehner, Jeremy Hawkins, Brandon Hawkins, William Smith, Steve Coonts, Jeremy Goodwin.
