Billy Ray Parrish age 69 passed away at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Billy was a die hard Alabama fan and was employed by Drummond Coal Company for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Thelma Parrish, Sisters, Lunette Burgette, Pauline Hammack, Shirley Henderson, Lennis Taylor, and Carolyn Brem and a daughter Tina Patrick. He is survived by his wife Lyndia Parrish, sons, Billy Ray Parrish, Jr., Johnny Parrish, Michael Parrish, all from Lakeland, Florida, a step son Michael Wayne Harris from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Sue Brewer, brother William J. Parrish. A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2014, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. with a chapel service following.
