Billy E. Malone

July 9, 1938 - April 4, 2014

Bill, a current resident of Moody, AL, passed away at his home Friday, after an extended illness at the age of 75. Bill retired from the mortgage business and he was an active member and deacon of the Northpark Baptist Church and a member of the Abundant Living Sunday School Class. He also enjoyed golfing.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Nannie Mae Malone; brothers, Jerry and Leroy Malone; sister, Nell Edgar. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara Malone; sons, Jeff Malone and Kevin Malone (Andrea); grandchildren, Emily Malone and Wyatt Malone; sister, Carolyn Spain (David); numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and caregivers from AlaCare Hospice.

A visitation will be held at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with a funeral at 2:00pm.
