Bill Key

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Scott Key, Sr and Flora Mae Thacker Key; brothers, Marvin Scott Key, Jr and Oren Winord Key (Dub).

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Frances Crocker Key; Daughter Sandra Key Bickel (Bobby) and son, John Key. He is also survived by grandchildren, Ryan Adcock, Brittany Wesley (Jacob), Ashley Adcock and great grandchild, Kaylee Adcock.

He was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. His passions were supporting the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and enjoying the music of Elvis Presley.

A visitation for Bill will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115.
