Beverly JoAnn Cooper, age 88 and a longtime resident of Gardendale, AL passed away on Monday evening, August 20, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Harold Thompson Cooper; parents, William and Pearl Frost; sisters, Bea Gober and Helen Elmore; brothers, Bill Frost and Jerry Frost. JoAnn is survived by a sister, June Poole and a brother, Bob Frost; her son, Tom Cooper (Judy) and daughter, Linda Kelley (Ted); four grandchildren, Keith Cooper, Matt Cooper, Tracey Neal (Mike), and Allen Kelley (Suzanne); and six great grandchildren.
Chapel services will be held on Friday, August 24th at 2 PM with visitation one hour prior to service time. Entombment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gardendale’s First Baptist Church Senior Adult Group where JoAnn was a longtime member.
