Betty L. Randle

Betty Long Randle, age 86, of Pinson, Alabama passed away on July 6, 2017. She was a wonderful wife, mother, granny and friend who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Betty was the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. A.P. Long. She was a graduate of Mortimer Jordan High School. She was the librarian at Pinson Junior High School, Pinson Elementary School, and Pinson United Methodist Church for many years. She later worked for Cherry Brothers Utility Contractors as a bookkeeper, from which she retired. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Ned Randle, and her beloved daughter, Sally Randle Freeman. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Kay Randle Hendrix ; grandchildren, Kelli (Brian) Burdette, Lori (Eric) Harrison, Brett (Trisha) Hendrix, Kim (Jeff) Tabet and Taylor Freeman; great grandchildren, Austin Burdette, Jackson Burdette, Carson Burdette, Grayson Burdette, Brynlee Harrison, Baylee Harrison, Zach Busenlehner, Blakelee Hendrix, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was a long - time member of Pinson United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2017, from 5:30 – 8:00 pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Pinson United Methodist Church with a visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Marvin’s Chapel Cemetery.
