Betty Ann Caldwell Heer

Betty graduated from Ensley High school; she was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church and the Eastern Star, Gardendale Chapter. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; she loved her family dearly and cherished all the time she was able to spend with them.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Alexander and Margie Hazelwood Caldwell, and her husband of 61 years L.V. Heer.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Heer Skeen and her husband Jon; a son, Greg Heer and his wife Luann; three grandchildren, Jonathan Skeen and his wife Rachel, Stacy Varden and her husband Keith, and Monica Skeen; five great grandchildren, McKinley Varden, Porter Skeen, Copeland Varden, Holden Skeen, and Wilder Varden, several other family members and a host of friends.

Celebration of life visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. Her burial will be private.
