Beryl H. Ferguson

December 2, 1916 - November 5, 2015

Beryl, Age 98, of Gardendale died on Nov. 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jack G. Ferguson, daughter Jackie Ferguson Mitchell, grandson Cary Thomas Mitchell and brother Albert Higginbotham. She was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and Carraway School of Nursing. She worked as an RN with Public Health, Carraway and Crippled Children’s Clinic. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother & “Mur”. She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Johnny) Gospodareck of Gardendale; grandchildren Terri (Steve) Ray, John (Tiffany) Gospodareck of Gardendale and Henry & Jason Mitchell of Montgomery; great- grandchildren Kristin (Justin) Pospy, Kacie Ray, Erin (John Kelly) Pate, Amberly Gospodareck, Thomas, John and Samantha Mitchell, and great-great grandchildren Elayna Pate and Easton Pospy and nephew Darryl (Lee) Higginbotham. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 2:00pm with visitation prior beginning at 1:00pm at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel followed by her burial in Moncrief Cemetery, Gardendale, AL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Enon Baptist Church’s, Sonshine Ministry, 724 Morris-Majestic Rd, Morris, AL 35116.
