Barbara Jill Looney, age 54 of Fultondale passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013. She worked at UAB as a Financial Affairs Associate in the Expenditure Review Department for over 13 years. Barbara was a 1976 graduate of Fultondale High School. She was the best mom, granny, sister, and friend in the world. She is survived by her loving family, a son, Adrian Omar Looney and his wife Candi; sisters, Cindy L. Looney and Sherry J. Looney; and the love of her life, her grandchild, Aaliyah Brianne Looney. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Elonza Looney and Macie Lee Jennings; a brother, Mickey H. Looney.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 6th at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel at 2 PM with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
