Ann M Cloud

Ann Moore Cloud, age 81, was born November 1, 1941. She passed away at her home in Mount Olive, AL on April 4, 2023 after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter E Moore, her mother Neddie M. Sligh, step father Robert Eugene Sligh, sister Gail Knight, brother Eugene Moore and daughter Brandi Goodwin. Ann leaves behind her loving husband of 39 years, John Cloud, sons Jack Porter, Jr. and Adam Cloud, daughters Lisa Hicks, Suzanne Porter and Bridget Melton (Kerry), grandchildren Ashley Jordan (Michael) Megan Dull (Corbin), Gregory Nall, Joshua Nall (Alisha), Kasey Clayton (Sammy), Brittney Hicks (Robert), Chase Melton, Caitlyn Goodwin, Kendall Melton, Grayson Goodwin and Ocean Cloud along with 9 great grandchildren. Brothers Edgar Moore (Virginia) and Allen Moore (Sangwan), a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ann was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and retired after 22 years with the USPS. She was a God-loving woman who treasured her family and friends. She was a kind hearted soul who never missed an opportunity to show it.

Ann will be remembered and truly missed by all.

A visitation for Ann will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Ann will be laid to rest in Mount Olive Cemetery, 3201 Mount Olive Road, Mount Olive, AL.
