Born in Blount Springs, Alabama on September 18th, 1928 and passed away on Friday, February 14th, 2014 at the age of 85. Alice was a graduate of Hayden High School and a member of Stewart’s Chapel Methodist Church in Warrior.
Alice was preceded in death by her Mother, Clara Duke; Father, Homer Duke and a Brother, Barnie Duke. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Herschel Thomas; Sisters, Dorthea Alexander and LaMoyne Cook; Brother, Homer Bud Duke and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held at Ridout’s Gardendale Chapel on Sunday, February 16th, form 6:00pm until 8:00pm with a funeral Monday, February 17th, at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in the Stewart’s Chapel Cemetery in Warrior, Alabama.
